Taste with St. Nicholas – Charitable Event for the Children of ATO Soldiers

On December 19, St. Nicholas Day, Carpathian Taste PU organized a charitable event – Taste with St. Nicholas, which is part of My Father Defends Ukraine social project   Laughter, positive emotions, delicious treats and incredible gifts from St. Nicholas – this is how the children and their parents (ATO participants who defend our country) will remember this day.

The celebration took place at Zarichevo hut, which is part of Shevchenkivskyi Hai open-air museum in Lviv.

Fine hosts Ivan and Ivanka organized a delicious tasting for the children. They told about Ukrainian customs and traditions and treated everyone with Taste of Ukrainian Carpathians TM products – cheese, sausage, jam, lekvar (Hungarian jam), baked potatoes and Carpathian tea for children and grown-ups alike. They all enjoyed it and nobody wanted to go home. It was frosty outside making it so cozy inside the hut with a warm stove where sausage was cooking. St. Nicholas himself came to the hut. He asked if the children had been nice and gave them presents.

More than 30 children and grown-ups celebrated St. Nicholas Day together with the Taste of Ukrainian Carpathians in that fairy-tale setting.

We would like to thank all Taste of the Ukrainian Carpathians producers, who prepared the treats. We are extending special gratitude to those who helped us with tasty gifts, namely Elitphito, Selyska Cheese Farm, Eko Gazda, Hashpar FH, Liluck LLC, bee farmers Andriy Stetsyk and Mykola Hunder, individual entrepreneur Valentyn Serdiuk.

We also did not forget about Lviv City Social Centre for Family, Children and Youth. Carpathian delicacies are the best gift)

We are thankful to everyone who shared the joy of St. Nicholas Day together with us on that marvelous day. We wish every Ukrainian family wealth, comfort and peaceful sky above!
